Long overdue items

What is the process in SPARK for long overdue items. Are they automatically deleted after a set amount of time? Is there a procedure I need to do or a report I can run?

Hello Dellana,
Every library can have a different workflow for overdue items, and it can depend on what you mean by Long Overdue.

While there is a status of Long Overdue, not every library uses it.

In the case of my library, the patron receives three overdue notices, and then the item skips the Long Overdue status and goes straight to Lost. The patron gets a bill for the item.

Then we run a report of items in Lost and re-order or delete accordingly.

You can check with Carrie about what your library settings are, and we can also hook you up with a report of items by status.
