NEW helpdesk platform- July 15th
Beginning Friday, July 15th, we will begin using a NEW helpdesk platform called Jira Service Management.
This means that all existing support tickets will be transferred over to the new system.
Any new support tickets created on Friday and beyond can still be opened either at https://sparkpa.org/support or by emailing support@sparkpa.org.

Click on “Contact SPARK Support” at the bottom of the page to fill out a support request form.

Recommendations from PaILS & Equinox - improving our database's stability
Hello SPARK users! The PaILS staff has been working with Equinox to identify & remedy some stability issues, and Equinox has invested significant time in making improvements to both our hardware and software in order to decrease the chances that we have stability issues. In addition, we have identified some ways in which we as users can help keep our database running smoothly.
In summary, we are asking that staff at SPARK libraries not delete users, and not edit more than 250 bibs or items at one time. Both of these were already recommendations (because they are things that we ask users to submit as support requests), and we are adding additional emphasis to those recommendations. Read More.
Security feature coming on June 1, 2022
To improve security, SPARK is going to be removing the ability of expired staff accounts from logging into the system starting June 1st. LibAdmin users will be responsible for maintaining staff accounts for their locations. To make sure you are notified, please make sure your work email address is in your SPARK login account. READ MORE
